The Muscular Demon Monk: Slaying My Way Through Journey to the West

A modern gym bro transmigrates and becomes Tang Sanzang from Journey to the West.

Just then, Guanyin appears in the sky, standing on auspicious clouds. Her face is serene, and she smiles with a flower between her fingers.

She is about to enlighten the bewildered Tang Sanzang and send him west to retrieve the scriptures.

Tang Sanzang, coming to his senses: "Keep that smile to yourself!"

He insults Guanyin so badly that she is left speechless!

And so,

the entire tone of Journey to the West goes completely off the rails.

Sun Wukong: "When that monk grabbed me by the throat and asked whether I'd go with him to the Western Heaven or be sent there the hard way, I knew the person the Bodhisattva told me to wait for had arrived."

Zhu Bajie: "Elder Brother, this is bad! Master is going berserk at Lion Camel Ridge!"

Sha Monk: "I still remember that day. Master was plucking the feathers off the Golden-Winged Great Peng, yet turned to tell me to show mercy and compassion."

Tang Sanzang: "Get the fire going, get the fire going! I've disliked that guy ever since we were at Spirit Mountain. Let's see who can save him today!"
