The Cat Era: Skywalker

This is a story about the Twelve Zodiac Signs, but not the story of the Twelve Zodiac Signs as you understand it.

Because dragons exist only in legend and have no physical form in the real world, the Cat Clan serves as their representative.

The Twelve Zodiac Clans take turns watching over the human world, each for a century. In this era, which began in the year 2000, it is the Cat Clan's turn to stand guard.

Xie Yimu awakens by chance, gaining the abilities to devour and absorb, as well as to travel through time and space. This draws him into a contest among the twelve great races to recruit him, and he nearly loses his life. Fortunately, he survives. With help from the Dragon Clan behind them, the Cat Clan moves first and brings Xie Yimu into its ranks, making him one of their own. Xie Yimu thus begins a miraculous life, creating an era of glory alongside the Cat Clan.

People usually call Xie Yimu the Heavenwalker.
