The Lord of the Rings: Smaug Merged with Me from the Start

When Smaug awoke, he suddenly found himself in Middle-earth. Determined to craft scale armor to protect himself from being killed, he captured poor Thorin and his companions as craftsmen before they even reached the Lonely Mountain.

He propped up a puppet ruler and rebuilt the Kingdom of Dale. There were more gold coins than he could ever spend!

Gandalf? Come over here and see if I don't bite you to death!

The orc army wailed and begged to join him, while the Wood Elves left the Woodland Realm in tears, forced to migrate west.

The Night King appeared in the North!

He wanted to lead his army of the dead south? Did he get my permission?

The Night King: "Hmph. My ice spear can pierce dragons. Just be my mount... Holy crap, you can transform too? What is this, a dragon-man?"

Sauron, at Mount Doom, shouted, "We're both villains, after all!"

Smaug flew into a rage at that. "Bah! A pathetic fool like you, killed after your home was stolen, is beneath me. I refuse to be associated with you."

It was only when the plague apocalypse came and monsters descended that Smaug realized Middle-earth wasn't as simple as he had thought.
