I Preached to the Monkey King, and the Reality Show Livestreamed It!

Lin Chen transmigrates to a parallel world in an era of war. Fortunately, he binds himself to the Celestial Master System, which grants rewards for spreading the Dao. After the war ends, Lin Chen returns to his remote mountain temple to live in seclusion, removed from worldly affairs.

One day, while out gathering herbs, Lin Chen encounters a monkey king on his way back to the temple. Seeing its extraordinary potential, he decides to take it as a disciple.

To that end, Lin Chen recites the Dao De Jing and expounds the Dao to the monkey king.

At the same time, a new episode of Back to Field is being livestreamed from Mount Emei. Guest star Zhao Jinmai unexpectedly comes across a Daoist priest and a monkey.

"The Dao that can be spoken is not the eternal Dao."

"The nameless is the beginning of Heaven and Earth."

"..."

The Daoist priest stands before the monkey, reciting the Daoist scriptures. As he speaks, the monkey king sits cross-legged just like a human, listening to his teachings!

Then, even birds flock to pay homage to the phoenix!

"There are no distinctions in teaching, and now even animals are becoming spirits?"

For a moment, Zhao Jinmai is left gaping in astonishment.
