Plane Merchant: From the Start, I Sell Li Yunlong a Hundred Machine Guns

Tang Bing is a newly minted plane merchant. Under the System's arrangements, he transmigrates to the war-torn world of the anti-Japanese resistance drama Bright Sword.

It is now 1940, and the Japanese are launching a fierce assault on the Jinzhong base area.

To cover the division headquarters and field hospital, Li Yunlong's New First Regiment has been surrounded by the Sakamoto Regiment at Cangyun Ridge.

"Zhuzhu, you good-for-nothing! We've only got two mortar shells left, and you still don't know how to make them last?" Li Yunlong bellowed at Wang Chengzhu, the crack artilleryman.

Wang Chengzhu looked aggrieved. "Regiment Commander, weren't you the one who told me to hit this and that? Why are you blaming me now?"

Just then, Tang Bing's voice sounded in the ear of the penniless Li Yunlong. "Old Li, I've got shells here. How about we make a deal?"

With business at his door, Li Yunlong promptly bought fifty shells and over a hundred crooked-stock machine guns.

As for the price, he had to capture a thousand Japanese soldiers alive and hand them over to Tang Bing, because another plane needed the most heinous criminals as cannon fodder.

The Bright Sword world is the main setting, with other worlds as secondary settings.
