Beneath the Eastern Hedge

Born among humans, one should aspire to seal and slay demons, become a saint through one's own efforts, and protect the peace of one's home.

Born among demons, one should aspire to break through obstacles and achieve immortality, offer oneself to Heaven, and divide the world in every direction.

Born into this world, one should take the stars of the myriad heavens as one's eyes, the vast lands as one's body, and the ancient saints and myriad demons as one's spear. With the might of one's domain and the power of demons, tear apart every last bit of wretchedness in this world.
