Showbiz: I Ushered in the Era of Xianxia and Wuxia Theme Songs

Jiang Chong transmigrated to a parallel world, and from the start, he had to audition with a song for the Immortal Sword 1 soundtrack.

In this world, wuxia and xianxia TV dramas had only just begun to take off. As a result, there were no traditional-style songs either, and the market was full of fast-paced hits and cheesy pop songs.

After seeing the song his predecessor had written, he decided to rewrite it from scratch.

He composed a song on the spot, first tailoring "Always Quiet" to Yue Ru.

The judges were amazed and insisted that he write songs for Brother Xiaoyao and Ling'er, so Jiang Chong went on to compose "Xiaoyao Sigh" and "June Rain."

When Immortal Sword 1 aired, it received rave reviews, and Jiang Chong quickly became famous.

Next, Myth invited him to compose "Beautiful Myth" and "Star-Moon Myth."

The Smiling, Proud Wanderer invited him to compose "A Laugh from the Sea."

When A Chinese Odyssey was released, he composed "Love of a Lifetime!"

The Condor Heroes invited him, and Jiang Chong wrote "Heartbroken Pacific" overnight.

Later, when Immortal Sword 3 began filming, Jiang Chong was invited to act in it and create its entire soundtrack, tailored to the show.

He ushered in a whole new era!
