Kneel Before My Sword

The sky was blood-red, the wind howled, and rain poured down in torrents. It was as if the gods were weeping.

On the high cliffs of Shenshou Mountain stood four people. All were white-bearded elders nearing a hundred years of age.

The four stood side by side at the edge of the cliff.

They wore matching red robes and held green jade staffs. Their eyes blazed as they glared at the sky.

Directly in front of them, suspended above the bottomless cliff, stood a man in blue.

He looked young, about twenty years old. But his temples were already streaked with white, and his snow-white hair whipped wildly in the wind.

"Witch Lin Yueyuan, do you accept your punishment?" the young man shouted.

Not far above him, within a sea of fiery clouds, a small figure could be made out. It seemed to be a young girl.

She wore white, and a pair of multicolored wings grew from her back. With a slight flutter of her wings, she too hovered in the air.

A golden halo surrounded her. At a glance, she looked like a goddess descended from the heavens!
