The Forced Journey of a Heroic Spirit Turned Temp Worker

Shangguan Ye was summoned, but there was no goddess in sight. Thinking it was nothing more than a god's prank, he planned to carry on with his life as usual. But it was as if he had been cursed by fate: misfortune after misfortune struck him, until he was eventually forced to become a Demon King.

Oh well. A Demon King was still a king, at least.

He found a hidden prophecy, only to see his own death written in it.

Damn it, couldn't he get a better ending?

He went to great lengths to prepare a fake death, only to be summoned back before he could even get started.

Just as he was preparing to live a quiet life of his own, Gaia dragged him off to work.

"Your first mission: purify the evils of this world!"

The adorable little girl said with a sweet smile.

Holding a book about the legend of King Arthur, Irisviel looked in surprise at the kneeling knight.

The Black Knight raised his head. "Servant Lancer, answering your summons. Are you my Master?"

This is a journey, and also a redemption!

You who are driven by fate: will you struggle, or will you fall into depravity?

Come on, make your choice!
