The Classic of Mountains and Seas: Evolving from an Ant

In the ancient primordial era, the world is now in a state of chaos and disorder.

Legend has it that the Four Seas and Eight Wastelands were still an undivided chaos, and the land was teeming with primeval beasts no one had ever heard of.

Even the gods and immortals of that age still dwelled on the earth, not yet separated from it.

If a mortal from a later age had existed back then, they would have been no more than an insignificant ant.

Yet our story begins with an ant.

This ant's origins are far from simple. It comes from the modern world, after all, and ants don't exist in this era yet.

This is an ancient age even more distant than the age of the dinosaurs.
