How I Got Backstabbed and Became One of the Five Elders

My name is Lin Nuo. I'm 21 years old, a transmigrator from Earth, and married. I work as a cook at Marineford. I start work at nine every morning and don't get home until six in the evening. I don't smoke or drink. I go to bed at midnight and make sure to exercise for seven hours every day.

After ten years, my wife and I are both eligible for reassignment. I want to transfer with her to the East Blue branch and become cooks there, spending the rest of our lives happily together.

But...

"Lin Nuo, congratulations on becoming a Marine branch ensign."

"..."

"Lin Nuo, congratulations on officially becoming the branch chief."

"Wait..."

"Lin Nuo, congratulations on becoming the East Blue branch admiral."

"Huh?!"

"Lin Nuo, congratulations on becoming one of the Five Elders."

"So much for my ordinary life! You bunch of backstabbers!"

"Enough talk. Hurry up and take over those old fossils' jobs!"

After being stabbed in the back by the Marines and Imu, Lin Nuo becomes the new Five Elders.
