Visitors from Beyond: A Magical Civilization Starting from Zero

One day, a spaceship from beyond the stars visited an isolated magical world. Its passenger was an emissary of an advanced technological civilization.

He was no miserly slave owner. He taught the goblins more advanced manufacturing techniques and showed the beastfolk more efficient ways to farm.

He was no ignorant feudal lord. He led humanity through reform, driving a backward civilization that had remained unchanged for ten thousand years ever forward.

He was no brutal invader. He took neither the rare treasures the dragons had amassed over centuries nor the beautiful elf maidens whose looks rivaled jade.

The ceremonial salutes fired to welcome his arrival marked the dawn; the noon sun was the flame of civilization he brought. He did not mind that the sun would eventually sink into the dusk,

for once the night had passed, the first rays of dawn would shine upon this newborn magical civilization.
