Great Qin: The First Emperor Is Assassinated, and Li Si Asks Me to Play Him

Zhao Qing takes part in a game beta test, unaware that he has actually transmigrated into the world as the First Emperor's illegitimate son.

Li Si: "I am Li Si, Chancellor of Great Qin. I want you to serve as the emperor's double while His Majesty recuperates, keeping the court stable in the meantime."

Zhao Qing: "Is this an NPC giving me a System quest? I have to accept System quests..."

Since this is a beta test to find bugs, of course he can't follow the plot as the programmers intended.

Zhao Qing thinks he needs to learn to think in reverse. He can't let his actions fall into the grooves of the game's script.

To stabilize Great Qin, the best approach is to eliminate the greatest source of instability first!

"Guards, drag Zhao Gao, that treacherous minister, out and behead him."

...Some time later:

Li Si: "Your Majesty, this stand-in acts recklessly and without restraint. I suggest we replace him."

The First Emperor: "His actions are always unexpected, yet afterward one can see the deeper meaning in everything he does. Even I cannot see through him just yet. We should observe him for a while longer..."
