In the World of Elves: Alongside You

"You want me to help you achieve those dreams you think you can't fulfill yourself, right? Of course I can... Wait, hold on, buddy. This 'take care of my beloved Zhiyu for the rest of her life' thing... Who's Zhiyu...? Hey? Where'd you go?"

Duan Tian is a genius high school senior with a phenomenal memory: he never forgets anything he sees. During a school-organized spring outing, he accidentally fell off a cliff. Certain he was going to die, he opened his eyes and discovered that he had transmigrated to the world of Pokémon! He had brought along his incredible memory, too. The person whose body he now inhabited also told him their dying wish: Since fate brought us together, please fulfill my last wish.

So Duan Tian, who had once sworn to reach the very top no matter where he ended up, decided to pursue his promise and fulfill the former owner's dying wish by setting out to become the world's strongest Pokemon Trainer!

Of course, the person who originally owned this body was coming along, too...
