Defying My Ancestors' Rules: If I Don't Step In, the Archaeology Team Is Done For

"My great-grandfather was a tomb raider, my grandfather sold national treasures to foreigners, and my maternal great-uncle smuggled antiques. Can I join the archaeological team?"

At the national archaeological team's recruitment event, Xu Mu's words left everyone dumbfounded.

The top archaeology graduates who had come to apply for positions on the team were also left gaping at him.

"This guy wants to join the archaeological team? Is he planning to raid tombs while he's at it?"

"How outrageous! He's openly admitting to tomb raiding, selling national treasures, and smuggling antiques?"

"This is ridiculous. They ought to arrest him, and he still wants to join the archaeological team?"

"He's betraying his family tradition!"

Hearing the crowd's chatter, Xu Mu could only sigh helplessly. "I know I'm going against my family's tradition, but I can't just stand by and let the archaeological team disappear!"
