Promoting Intangible Cultural Heritage: A Panda Sets Its Sights on Me During My Livestream

After graduating from university, Li Yan chose to become an ordinary forest ranger in a mountain village in Sichuan Province.

He starts a livestream, using the purest traditional methods to recreate the making of intangible cultural heritage crafts and promote the Great Xia's intangible cultural heritage.

Fire pistons, papermaking, brewing starter, brushes and ink, porcelain firing.

He can do more than crafts, too: play the guqin, practice calligraphy, perform acupuncture, and hum folk songs.

But wait!

He only cut down a couple of extra bamboo stalks to use. How did he end up getting extorted by a wild black-and-white fluffball?

That would be one thing, but how did it bring a whole litter along in the blink of an eye?

Can't shake them? Fine! He'll take this whole family of pandas, big and small, on his patrol. But halfway there, he suddenly finds a golden-shaded cat...

Li Yan: "I give up. I'm not a forest ranger, I'm a zookeeper!"

Giant panda: "Squeak~!"

Golden-shaded cat: "Meow~"

Panda fluffball in his left hand, cat in his right.

Li Yan: "This is the life!"
