Late Yuan: From the Start, Old Zhu Knelt and Begged Me to Come Out of Retirement

Xun Mu transmigrates to the end of the Yuan Dynasty and becomes the owner of a tavern in Chuzhou.

One day, a table of customers starts talking about the state of the world. A little tipsy, Xun Mu says a few things too many.

Three days later, Zhu Yuanzhang comes to his door, kneels before Xun Mu, and says fervently, "This old Zhu is being shameless, but I beg you, sir, to come out of retirement and help me achieve greatness!"

Unable to refuse such a heartfelt plea, Xun Mu has no choice but to agree. And just as he does, a voice rings out.

"Ding! You have become a strategist of a rising power. The Mandate of Heaven Strategist System has been activated!"

"You have obtained the Mandate of Heaven skill: Know the Heavens, Lv. 1."

"You have obtained the Mandate of Heaven skill: Understand the Terrain, Lv. 1."

"You have obtained the Mandate of Heaven skill: Understand the People, Lv. 1."

Years later, Zhu Yuanzhang ascends the throne and shares a drink with Xun Mu. "In my whole life, I've only ever knelt before one of my own men. Even now, I still think it was worth it! More than worth it!"
