One Song of Forgetful Love, and Heartbroken Simps Across the Internet

With nothing better to do, Liu Fei opens a short-video app and starts watching a livestream.

When he enters the most popular livestream, the streamer is showing off his singing talent.

Except the song this male streamer is singing is so awful that Liu Fei can barely keep from laughing.

"These lyrics and this tune, and so many people actually support him?"

"You wrote and sang your own version of 'Forgetful Water'? Don't embarrass yourself."

"Never heard of Heavenly King Liu's 'Forgetful Water'?"

"I'll sing it! Yeah, I'll sing it!"

So Liu Fei picks up the microphone and sings Heavenly King Liu's signature song, "Forgetful Water."

He never expected the song to make every lovesick simp on the internet break down.

"Wah, wah, wah, I'm crying. I'll never get my youth back."

"You won't understand this song until you've been divorced once..."

"Speaking as a three-year simp, at least you got married..."

This also makes everyone curious about the story behind the song.

After hearing Liu Fei's story, they all exclaim, "No wonder!"

Liu Fei insists he's innocent.

"I swear, I'm really not a simp!!!!"
