Three Kingdoms: Stop Praising Me, I Really Just Want to Slack Off

Guo Yu transmigrated to the late Han Dynasty, during the Three Kingdoms era, and became Guo Jia's younger brother. He awakened a Merit Growth System: as long as he distinguished himself, he could keep getting stronger.

But if he went too long without earning merit, even a minor offense would trigger a punishment mechanism and send him back to his original world.

So Guo Yu, who was determined to go home, began a campaign of sabotaging Cao Cao.

"I had no choice before. Now all I want is to go home and clear my head!"

But every one of his schemes somehow produced astonishingly beneficial results for Cao Cao.

In Xu Province, he proposed using their already meager supplies to feed surrendered civilians. He expected the lack of food to force a retreat, but instead the people of Xu Province gathered provisions and rallied behind Cao Cao.

When rebellion broke out in Yan Province, he advised Cao Cao to head out to Xu Province and ignore Zhang Miao and Chen Gong. Instead, the people inside the territory resisted of their own accord, Lü Bu was driven away, and Cao Cao took both Yan and Xu Provinces.

Many years later, Guo Yu held a high position, his achievements unmatched, and his household full of wives and concubines.

"Honestly, I really was hoping to slack off."
