We Agreed to Explore Our Past Lives, So What's with That Qilin Tattoo?

Synopsis: This is a world with a severe break in its historical and cultural record.

To fill in the missing history, the country launches a program called Past and Present Lives.

Zhang Qilin appears on the show, and viewers discover that his past life was actually a tomb raider?

And what's the deal with the Qilin tattoo on your body and that black gold ancient saber?

Meanwhile, an archaeological team discovers that the ancient tomb Zhang Qilin entered in his past life is the mysterious bronze tomb they cannot enter at all!

Corpse Gu insects, fire-feather bugs, the Nine-Turn Golden Tower, corpse demon taro, worm-like monsters, and more all appear, leaving the archaeological team with heavy casualties!

The archaeologists are stunned to discover that Zhang Qilin easily dealt with every one of them. They all start copying his moves in real time!

In the end, Zhang Qilin guards the bronze gate alone for a century, disappearing from the world's view.

When archaeologists follow in Zhang Qilin's footsteps and open the bronze gate, they finally see the truth.

They discover that Zhang Qilin is the true reason behind the gap in history. The entire nation is moved to tears: it turns out they had all blamed him unfairly.
