Journey to the West: I Am the Wine Sword Immortal, One Sword from the West Topples Heaven and Earth

Three thousand years ago, during the final battle of the Investiture of the Gods, the Three Teachings besieged Golden Turtle Island and shattered the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation.

Chen Changsheng, a disciple of the Jie School, was abducted to the West by the Two Saints of the West.

Unexpectedly, he awakened the Supreme Sword Immortal System and inherited the legacy of the Wine Sword Immortal.

To restore the Jie School to its former glory, Chen Changsheng spent three thousand years drunk, keeping a low profile as he laid plans across the land.

Then one day, in Aolai Kingdom on the Eastern Victory Divine Continent, a stone burst apart beside Chen Changsheng.

A bewildered stone monkey looked at the drunken Chen Changsheng.

"Ride the sword on the wind, come to rid the world of demons. What a marvelous verse!"

"Little monkey, what's so fun about being a monkey? If you're going to be one, become the carefree Great Sage Equal to Heaven!"

From then on, a peerless demonic ape capable of overturning the heavens appeared between Heaven and Earth.

Soon after, Great Qin raised the Black Dragon Banner, ascended to immortality as a nation, and launched its western campaign.

Chen Changsheng carried a treasured sword and wore a wine gourd at his waist. With invincible might, he came from the West with a single sword strike, overturning Heaven and Earth! His sword cleaved open Heaven's Gate!

Thus began Buddhism's nightmare.
