High school student Zhou Shanhai transmigrates and becomes the Evolver Weiss.

Weiss was an orphan on Planet El, raised from childhood aboard the Wudongta, a merchant ship that explored the cosmos.

As the Wudongta waited by a teleportation gate, a massive warship belonging to the Federation appeared behind it, having just teleported in. The Emperor was aboard. The Wudongta was in the way, so the warship destroyed it with a single shot, killing everyone.

To avenge them, Weiss bought a metal hand on the black market, crafted by a down-and-out bionic engineer who had lost the lower half of his body. He used a demon potion to awaken his life factor and give the mechanical hand life. It became his mechanical familiar, and he became an Evolver.

In truth, Weiss had died, his soul imprisoned inside the mechanical hand as the soul of its mechanical familiar. Zhou Shanhai transmigrated into this body, his soul taking its place.
