Pokemon: My Pikachu Fused with the Rumble-Rumble Fruit

Pikachu's initial form is Pichu. It evolves into Pikachu when the intimacy/level reaches a certain level, and then evolves into Raichu through the Thunder Stone.

Shouldn't the egg contain Pichu in its initial form????????????????

Pikachu is the second-level evolutionary form of Pichu, the first-level is Pichu, and the third-level is Raichu. *It makes no sense, why did Pikachu hatch from the elf egg in the first place?
