National Fate: I Made PUBG from the Start

Divine punishment suddenly descended upon the world, plunging everyone into a nightmare curse.

One person was chosen at random from each country to become the Chosen One, tasked with controlling the Nightmare Space.

They had to collect negative emotions to offset the divine punishment during the monthly settlement.

If they met that month's quota, the Chosen One and their entire nation would receive rewards.

If they failed, they would face terrifying divine punishment.

To meet their quotas, countries resorted to forcing or enticing everyone to take part.

The people of the world were trapped in an endless cycle of fear.

"Just kill me! Kill me! I don't want to go in there..."

"It's too terrifying. The Chosen One isn't even human!"

"I don't want to live anymore. Being tortured like this every day, I'd rather just..."

Only the people of Xia were on tenterhooks, frustrated that they couldn't enter the Nightmare Space.

"Women really do slow down my blade. I almost won a chicken dinner!"

"That's not fair! I'm a girl, and you're being this cruel to me?"

"There's not enough time! You only get one round a day. That's nowhere near enough!"
