Genshin Impact: I Became a Liyue Adeptus and Took Zhongli as My Disciple

This is Teyvat, a land where seven elements converge. Since Liyue was founded, the adepti have made a contract with Rex Lapis.

As everyone knows,

In modern-day Liyue, the Conqueror of Demons can often be found at Wangshu Inn, while three adepti reside high in Jueyun Karst.

Yet after transmigrating, Lin Cang became the fourth adeptus of Jueyun Karst: the True Lord of Bygone Clouds!

As an adeptus, naturally he had to fulfill his duties under the contract.

However...

On his first day, the True Lord of Bygone Clouds basked in the warm sun at Liyue's southern docks.

On the second day, he went to Xinyue Kiosk to sample their finest pastries, and seemed surprisingly similar to the broke Rex Lapis.

Then on the third day... he suddenly found a carefree young man sitting on his bamboo chair.

"I am the True Lord of Bygone Clouds. You are fortunate to see my true form."

"Cloud Retainer has a disciple. Surely I, the True Lord of Bygone Clouds, can have one too?"

"Zhongli, would you be willing to become my disciple?"
