Planet Rankings: A Festival of Healing

"Hello, I've cured your condition of seeing everything as covered in dog fur."

"Are you a cat?"

"Isn't this joke popular among you humans on Earth? Looks like jokes don't make it any easier to accept." The orange cat in front of me shook its head and sighed.

"Am I dead?"

"It's the New Year. Can't you say something auspicious? You've been reborn."

Superpowers? None.

"So you're messing with me?"

"You don't have any for now. That's what happens when the healing level in your region is so low. Hurry up and get used to this, then go do your job."

What? The god on duty is the King of the Underworld, who cries all the time and loves destroying things?

I have to bring people comfort to stay alive?

Then I'll just lie flat.

Lie flat? You turn into fireworks and firecrackers in an instant. Countdown to detonation: 5-4-3-2-1. Boom!

After being reborn and chosen as a divine envoy, I am pushed along by an adorable cat child. During human holidays, I must comfort people's hearts and raise my region's ranking, my country's ranking, and even Earth's ranking among the planets, so that disasters won't destroy humanity and Earth.
