After transmigrating into a certain martial world, he becomes Xu Fengnian, the Prince of Beiliang.

He lives through the life he was meant to live, then guards the Heavenly Gate in the human world for three hundred years!

Unexpectedly, one day the Heavenly Gate opens by itself, and countless immortals descend to the mortal world!

The world is in an uproar!

But before anyone can react, the tens of thousands of supposedly brutal immortals kneel before Xu Fengnian. "We humbly beseech the True Martial Emperor to return to the Heavenly Court!"

???

Before Li Mu can react, the Jade Emperor, seated high above on the thirty-third level of heaven, hurriedly comes before him, looking anxious. "It is my fault for disturbing the True Martial Emperor's cultivation, but the Monkey has come knocking. Please, True Martial Emperor, subdue the demon monkey!"

As soon as he finishes speaking, a mighty monkey drives the Jade Emperor under the table!

"The Jade Emperor's throne goes around. This year, it's my turn!"

???

I just opened the Heavenly Gate, and you're telling me the previous generation was the Heavenly Court from Journey to the West? And the Monkey is still causing havoc in Heaven at this point? You want me to fight him???
