Three Kingdoms: A Miscommunicated Order Turns Retreat into a Breakout

Zhou Ming transmigrates to the end of the Eastern Han dynasty and becomes a Yellow Turban commander.

From the start, the main Yellow Turban forces are surrounded at Julu. At this moment of life and death, Zhang Jue issues his highest command:

Zhou Ming is to lead 5,000 elite Yellow Turban soldiers to a remote place, preserving the last embers of the Yellow Turban movement!

But what Zhang Jue never expected was that his subordinate would relay the command incorrectly...

The original order is changed to: “We absolutely cannot retreat. Break out!”

So, to fight for one last chance, Zhou Ming leads the Yellow Turbans straight for the imperial capital.

The course of history is completely changed by this one miscommunicated order.

Ten days later, with Julu on the verge of falling, news reaches everyone that Zhou Ming’s forces have arrived at Luoyang.

Everyone is stunned.

Zhang Jue: I told you to retreat, not attack the imperial capital!
