My Father Goes on a Show, and My Boxful of Medals Is Revealed

During the two wars against alien invasions, the 1999 Defense War and the 2012 Doomsday War, Han Yu is gravely wounded. After erasing humanity's memories, he has no choice but to follow the System's guidance to a higher plane.

His father, Han Jianguo, knows nothing of this and has always believed his son Han Yu is missing. After searching for him for five years, he appears on a family reunion show.

On the show, a photo of Han Yu covered in scars is mistaken for a gangster's scarred face.

A box of medals in the corner of the house is accused of being fake.

Certificates naming him a hero of humanity in the 1999 Defense War and the savior of the 2012 Doomsday War are dismissed as absurd fantasies.

Then the ten major military regions issue a joint statement: Han Yu is a hero of this era.

Footage from the 1999 Defense War and the 2012 Doomsday War comes to light.

Only then do people suddenly realize: what peaceful times? It's only because someone is shouldering the burden for us!
