The Way of the Third Master: True Spirit Thrones

Endless emptiness, endless chaos, beyond color and form, beyond law and heaven. From a single breath came the Two Modes; yin and yang gave birth to all things. The Three Pure Ones attained the Great Dao, and their divine powers could open the heavens. Four swords divided the nine levels, while the Five Elements held the universe in check. The Four Directional Emperors, the gods and Buddhas filling the sky, immortals, demons, ghosts and monsters, asuras and yakshas, fearsome beasts and mortal ants: all have their fated destinies. The destruction of the world and reborn cycles of reincarnation are all decreed by Heaven. To enter the world or leave it, to guide others toward cultivation, to live forever, to ascend in broad daylight: good and evil hinge on a single thought. To attain, teach, and defend the Dao: conflict never ends. The Three Realms wage war, and heavenly tribulations rage without respite. The Dao follows nature, and all paths lead to the same destination. The eldest lord, wise and discerning, teaches the Dao and guides others through tribulations. The second lord, dispassionate, attains the Dao and preserves the truth. The third lord, benevolent above all, defends the Dao and eradicates evil. Heaven's cycle of reincarnation cannot be escaped; each cultivates their own cause and effect, their true spirit and station, until all laws return to one. This is the beginning of the universe. This is the origin of gods and demons. This is the cycle of all things. This is the Three Thousand Great Daos.
