Legend of the Sword Warrior

Situ Ming came to the East Sea and became a pearl diver. He went out diving with the other pearl divers, but a storm struck. While trying to save one of them, Situ Ming disappeared into the vast East Sea. He was rescued by Ji Yunyan, princess of the merfolk. Evil spirits attacked the merfolk to seize the remains of Moro, so the merfolk sent Situ Ming and Ji Yunyan away from their waters with the remains. Ji Yunyan looked at Situ Ming and made a wish. Tears fell from her eyes, turning into a colorful pearl, which she gave to him. When Situ Ming learned that it was a mermaid's tear, he left without saying goodbye. After the tear accidentally merged with Situ Ming's heart, Ji Yunyan quickly withered away and died not long afterward.
