The End of the Prey

In 2221 AD, due to frequent wars, the genes of certain organisms were changed under the influence of biological and chemical weapons. Humanity also realized that the existence of the United Nations was now nothing more than an empty shell. The Rebels, composed of small and poor countries, oppose the United Nations forces and form a three-legged confrontation with the self-defense forces of private organizations. I am a member of a small team of the Civilian Self-Defense Force. I accepted a commission from the United Nations Army and the Rebels to fight against monsters formed by genetic mutations. In the end, it was discovered that Rebels was just an organization set up by the United Nations behind the scenes. The real confrontation was not between the three pillars but between the United Nations and the people. The monsters are so rampant that the United Nations has to join forces with the Civilian Self-Defense Forces to jointly resist the monster invasion and strive for the greatest space for human survival. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
