The Broken Cultivation System

"Ding! You have defeated the SSS-rank boss Shakya. Would you like to devour him?"

The once blissful Buddhist paradise became a sea of blood in an instant after "he" arrived. Severed limbs littered the ground, and blood flowed like a river. The Buddha's face no longer looked holy. Fear of death relentlessly gnawed at his mind.

"Ding! Shakya has entered a state of fear. Would you like to devour him?"

"Ding! Shakya has fallen to his knees before you. Would you like to forgive him?"

He looked at the Tathagata Buddha, who kept begging him for mercy. Once, the ruler of the Buddhist paradise had been so imposing, but now he was begging for forgiveness like a stray dog.

"Please spare me... Immortal..." The Buddha's trembling voice grated on his ears. It wasn't impossible to spare him, but...

"When you killed me, did I beg you to spare me?"

"Ding! Shakya devoured. Congratulations, you are the new ruler of the Western Heaven! Where shall we go next?"

"Ding! Your next destination has been confirmed: the Heavenly Court!"
