Three Kingdoms: From Peddler to Top Strategist

Hailed alongside Kongming as the two greatest geniuses of a chaotic age, Liu Tong leaves his master behind, only to return to Xuchang and become a street peddler.

By chance, he meets Cao Cao at the market. Liu Tong offers him brilliant advice time and again, yet the two have no idea who the other really is.

Cao Cao fumes, "All the strategists in my hall are less perceptive than that farmer I met at the market!"

Xun Yu: "His talent and learning are ten, even dozens of times greater than mine..."

Cheng Yu hands Liu Tong a year's salary. "Brother Wencai, could you teach me a couple of formations?"

Kongming: "Brother Wencai's strategies far surpass mine. My lord, you must not provoke him!"

In his final moments, Liu Bei lies on his sickbed and sighs bitterly, "If only I had chosen Liu Wencai back then, I wouldn't have ended up like this..."
