One Man's Documentary: From the Start, a Hundred-Day Traverse of the Great Hengduan Mountains

"The extraordinary and magnificent, the rare and strange, often lie in perilous and remote places, seldom visited by people. Thus, only those with determination can reach them."

In a parallel-world China, species are incredibly diverse, and wonders and spectacular sights abound.

Yet most are hidden in dangerous, remote places, unknown to the world.

Lu Lei, a transmigrator, activates the Nature Documentary System. Starting in the Hengduan Mountains, he sets out to explore the natural world.

The Hengduan Mountains are a cluster of mountain ranges running north to south: the Min Mountains, Qionglai Mountains, Daxue Mountains, Shaluli Mountains, Mangkam Mountains, Taniantaweng Mountains, and Boshula Range.

They form China's longest, widest, and most characteristic north-south mountain system.

With only himself and a camera,

Lu Lei crosses the Great Hengduan in a hundred days!
