International Students Sing Carols on Christmas Eve, and I Pick Up the Suona

The Christmas spirit filled the Capital Conservatory of Music.

International students from the West planned a performance and sang "Silent Night" beneath the dormitory every night at the crack of dawn.

The sound of their rehearsals annoyed countless students.

The school administration did nothing, while the folk music professors were powerless to help.

Lu Qinghou picked up a suona and stepped forward.

Woooo!

The solo suona under the night sky completely drowned out the international students' orchestral performance.

Ten years to master the flute, a hundred to master the xiao. One erhu, and your back will break.

A thousand years for the pipa, ten thousand for the zither. One suona tune shakes heaven and earth.

When the international students came to confront him and demand an explanation, Lu Qinghou said, "No way, no way. Surely nobody really thinks Christmas is a Western holiday."

"As everyone knows, Christmas is the birthday of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong."

"As the saying goes, eat dumplings on Christmas Eve, and next year you'll have nothing to worry about."

"If you don't eat dumplings at Christmas, your ears will freeze off, and no one will care."

"You international students give each other apples on Christmas Eve. Doesn't that prove Christmas belongs to Huaxia after all?"

The international students: "???"
