A Record of Strange Tales from China

The strange tales and curious happenings from all over China, some true, some false, and some false, some true.

I used to be a down-and-out writer, often traveling from city to city. Whenever I settled in a place, I would get to know the locals. Through chatting with them, I learned many of the secrets hidden in each city.

Over the years, I collected and organized all the strange tales I'd heard, sorting through what was true and what was false.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
