The World Evacuates the Forbidden Zone, While I Guard Our Borders with the Ice Fruit

One year after the forbidden zones opened, the chosen ones of various countries had suffered heavy casualties within them. Their national borders repeatedly fell, allowing countless vicious beasts to run rampant across Blue Star.

In the end, the countries of the world jointly decided to withdraw all their chosen ones and permanently close the gates to the forbidden zones.

During the evacuation, Su Jie, the chosen one from Xia Country, was killed. The entire nation mourned.

In the post-forbidden-zone era, chosen ones were the guardians who deterred other countries. Without them, Xia Country was destined to decline.

But at the very moment the gates to the forbidden zones closed, people saw the "corpse" of Xia Country's chosen one move. Su Jie was still alive!

The higher-ups immediately called for the gates to be reopened, but it was too late. Countries around the world took advantage of their predicament and opposed the move one after another.

Su Jie, the chosen one, was left alone in the forbidden-zone world.

Worse still, the vicious beasts began their siege. Everyone thought the gravely wounded Su Jie was sure to die, and that beasts numbering a hundred times his own were about to descend upon Xia Country.

The entire nation of Xia Country wailed in despair, helplessness, and grief, waiting for its end to come.

Then a cool, indifferent voice rang out:

"Ice Age!"
