The Youthful Years of Struggle in the Nineties

A girl whose ancestors have all been farmers comes from a poor family. She's not good at school, and though she feels lost about the future, she also dreams of what it might hold. She makes a bold decision to return to the countryside. Despite her parents' objections, her peers' disapproval, and her neighbors' gossip, she fears neither hardship nor exhaustion, and works hard to build her own career.

She honors her parents, takes responsibility as a good older sister, helps her friends, and finds love with someone she has secretly loved for a long time.
