I Asked You to Mediate, Not Take Complete Control!

Why is it that every time you go to mediate, you end up having the final say?

I can understand the victims listening to you.

But why does the other side listen to you too?

As the host of a popular mediation program, Tan Cheng brings the microphone to all kinds of difficult people.

Tan Cheng: "Are you being threatened? If you are, you can blink."

Person in question: "No, no. I'm doing this entirely of my own free will."

Tan Cheng: "All he did was let his dog bite the other person. Isn't making him pay for a whole house a bit unreasonable?"

Person in question: "How is that unreasonable? We should care for disadvantaged groups and uphold our nation's virtues..."

Tan Cheng: "All right, I hereby declare this mediation a complete success!"
