From the Start, I Gave Up Top-Tier Magic Talent and Chose the Sword

Gu Chen transmigrates to a world where magic reigns supreme and magical power is everything.

The mages of this world enjoy lofty status and immense power.

Thanks to his outstanding talent, Gu Chen also becomes a magical prodigy admired by all.

But just before he is about to enter a higher magic academy and embrace glory,

the Sword Dao System inexplicably activates.

Gu Chen immediately ** the path of magic and chooses to open a new era of cultivation civilization.

From that moment on,

the world loses a future nine-star mage.

In his place is Gu the Sword Immortal, treading the skies with a long sword and song.

And then there's his older sister, who has no real power to speak of, but can set Gu the Sword Immortal straight with nothing but a pair of slippers.
