Journey to the West: Forcing Li Shimin to Abdicate from the Start

In the first year of the Zhenguan era.

That year, Jin Chanzi had been reincarnated as Tang Xuanzang, still an ordinary monk at Huasheng Temple.

That year, Sun Wukong was still trapped beneath Five Elements Mountain.

While the gods and Buddhas across the heavens were busy laying their plans on the eve of the Journey to the West,

In the Great Tang capital of Chang'an, inside the Taiji Palace,

Li Chang'an, who had transmigrated and become Li Shimin's third son, was forcing Li Shimin to abdicate.

From then on, the human dynasty broke free from the control of immortals and Buddhas, and began developing in a direction that filled them with dread.

Li Chang'an: "Since I am the emperor, all under heaven is my land, and all within the Three Realms are my subjects. May humanity prosper forever."
