Once a Boy

When you're in middle school, you always wish you could grow up faster. You don't realize that those innocent, awkward years are some of the best times of your life. Years fly by, and when you look back on those lively days, they still warm your heart. There was happiness, and there were regrets, but those days have truly passed, leaving you with a feeling that's both real and dreamlike. All I can do is write down a few words in tribute to the youth that will never return.
