Giovanni's Last Words: My Son Will Restore Team Rocket!

In the world of Pokemon.

The Kanto Region.

Team Rocket's alarming rate of growth draws the Pokemon League's attention!

Champions and Elite Four members from many regions gather to launch a devastating attack on Team Rocket.

"Team Rocket is finally going to be eliminated."

Chairman Charles Goodshow looks at Giovanni, cornered and out of options, and breathes a sigh of relief. Behind him, Lance, Steven, Cynthia, and the others all smile in relief.

"Hahaha, it's no use! Team Rocket's flag will never fall. My son will restore Team Rocket to glory!"

Giovanni laughs out loud with the last of his strength.

Meanwhile, Giovanni's son takes treasures such as a Mewtwo embryo and secretly heads to the Unova Region, where he gradually builds up Team Rocket.

He makes Caitlin his servant and turns the Champion into a pawn for ruling the Unova Region from the shadows…
