Academy City: What Does It Mean to Be the Chosen One?

He became the Chosen One.

Bai Yan transmigrates to Academy City and becomes a being even more powerful than a Demon God.

But Bai Yan has no intention of following the plot at all.

"What's so great about following the plot? I transmigrated to Academy City to have fun! Wouldn't it be great to raise Misaka Mikoto as a girlfriend who drops in out of nowhere? And wouldn't it be nice to raise Shokuhou Misaki as a childhood friend?"

From then on, Bai Yan sets Academy City on a different course.

Shokuhou Misaki: "Honey, turn Misaka Mikoto into a ferocious shrew!"

Misaka Mikoto: "I'm a little confused. Wasn't I supposed to be the girlfriend who drops in out of nowhere? How do I also have the childhood-friend trait?"

Accelerator: "So I'm going to become a mere tool in the future? If I want to avoid that, I guess I'd better work hard!"
