I'm a Navy Intern, and I'm Supposed to Capture Roger?

A Marine serving with the South Blue Branch in the world of One Piece awakens the ability to evolve the skills he learns.

After finding a bloodstained diary, Jiang Liu is recommended for the headquarters' elite training camp, becoming an utterly unremarkable recruit.

“Detected that the Host is learning swordsmanship. It can be enhanced through evolution and transformed into flying slashes.”

“Detected that the Host is learning the Six Powers. They can be enhanced through evolution and transformed into the Eight Gates!”

“Detected that the Host is learning Conqueror's Haki. It can be enhanced through evolution and transformed into Conqueror's Haki coating.”

From Shave to the Body Flicker Technique, from Tempest Kick to Night Guy, from Observation Haki to Ryuo, and from weight training to the supreme body-forging art, Jiang Liu makes rapid progress.

Then, a year later, Kong said to him with a grave expression,

“Jiang Liu, capture Roger and bring him to justice!”

Jiang Liu fell silent. “@#￥#￥%!”

I'm just an ordinary Marine recruit, and you want me to capture Roger?

And besides, he's my brother-in-law!
