Great Tang: Father, I Really Didn’t Mean to Steal Your Crown Prince’s Position

The light in the general store was dim as a bean, and an old man chatted with a young man.

"Old-timer, who becomes the crown prince has nothing to do with you. Can't you just enjoy your retirement?"

"Li Er's troubles were small potatoes. Let me tell you about the Nine Princes' struggle for the throne."

"I couldn't afford to offend Prince Li Tai, so I could only send him out of Chang'an..."

"So what if I'm the head of the Tang Sect? Which of the Six Tang Sect Disciplines under me isn't powerful?"

"Just tell me, doesn't your conscience hurt after you tricked me into going so far away...?"

"Li Er drove Li Zhi away. What does that have to do with me...?"

"Your family is such a mess. Your concubine sold your grandson... Haha."

The old man said, "Grandson, hurry back to the palace. Everyone you've driven to ruin has run away."

"Who are you calling your grandson? Watch what you say..."

"Grandson, if you don't go back soon, the Tang dynasty will die out..."
