Great Tang: Emperor Gaozu's Testament Says We Still Have an Ancestor

Emperor Emeritus Li Yuan passed away, leaving Li Shimin a secret will:

"As it happens, I have an ancestor still alive! If the Tang Dynasty is doomed to fall, summon our ancestor from seclusion!"

That day, on Mount Taiyi on the outskirts of Chang'an,

five-colored auspicious clouds appeared in the sky, a rainbow bridge stretched across it, and purple qi rose in the east.

The Imperial Preceptor Li Chunfeng and the intelligence officer Yuan Tiangang were both astonished.

It was the sign of an emperor! An emperor was about to emerge from Mount Taiyi!

Just then, a massive Turkic army invaded from the north, advancing swiftly toward the Wei River!

With the empire beset by troubles at home and abroad, and the Tang Dynasty's very survival at stake,

Li Shimin personally went to the place where his ancestor lived in seclusion and begged him to come out.

"A descendant of the Li family begs to see our ancestor! The Tang Dynasty is doomed! Please come out of seclusion!"
