Writing Novels in a Mythical World

After being schemed against and killed by a fellow creator, failed manga artist Fang Ziping woke up to find himself in a mythical world where a hundred schools of thought contended:

Here, Confucians could make their words come true.

Painters could bring anything to life; one stroke could reveal the sun and moon, heaven and earth!

Legalists could speak with the authority of the heavens; their seals of law judged heaven, earth, and humanity!

Monks could lift Mount Sumeru with their six-zhang golden bodies and stand unshaken for five hundred years!

Masters of destiny could command all laws with a word and decide whether a person lived or died!

Astrologers could move the stars, alter fate, and defy heaven!

There were also countless other professions, including immortals, Daoists, cultivators, and spirit mediums, in this age when a hundred schools of thought contended.

Fang Ziping decided to follow the path he knew best, and the one with the biggest golden finger among the hundred schools: the Novelists. From this moment on, he would write destiny with his stories!

"I've chosen you! Come out, Great Sage Equal to Heaven!"

A golden light descended from the sky and enveloped him, transforming into armor, while an iron staff appeared tightly gripped in his hand!
