Urban: It Began When I Tore into a Dream-Home Designer

Jiang Chen's grandfather, who lived in a village in northwest China, was chosen for a home makeover show, and the renovation of his old house began.

"I want a little two-story villa, just like my neighbor's..."

"Come on, follow me. I'll take you all to see my neighbor's villa."

After hearing what the old man wanted, the show's designers readily agreed.

But after spending all the old man's savings, they built a bare red-brick shell.

The production team even had the nerve to call it a transformation from an old country house into a dream countryside home?

At that moment, Jiang Chen stepped forward.

He went straight to the show's set and, in front of the entire crew and the viewers at home, berated the unscrupulous production team and designer!

"A damn designer who ignores the homeowner's wishes, get out of here!!"

Just as Jiang Chen became famous, his identity as an academician of both the Academy of Architecture and the Academy of Scientific Research was revealed...

It turned out that China's most outstanding buildings had all been designed by Jiang Chen.
